Rules for count and mass nouns

Hi guys 🙋😘 ¿ how are you? In this blog we will talk about the rules of countable nouns and mass nouns.

COUNTABLE NOUNS 

Rule#1 

Only countable nouns have a plural form, Example: Egg (huevo) Eggs (huevos), Dress (vestido) Dresses (Vestidos).👗👗

Rule#2

We can use “a” or “an” with count nouns in singular form, Example: Apple (manzana) An apple (Una manzana), House (casa) A house (Una casa).🏠

Rule#3

We can use numbers in front of a count noun, Example: Five stars (Cinco estrellas), Two months (Dos meses), Ten carrots (Tres zanahorias).🍀🍀🍀

MASS NOUN 

Rule#1

Mass nouns do not have a plural form, Example: Rice (arroz) Rices you can not say.
